Remsen Welsh

Remsen has been involved with A Broken Umbrella Theatre since she was nine years old, when she made her first appearance in Vaudevillain. Other company credits include The Library Project, Freewheelers, and Made of New Haven. Remsen has appeared in numerous professional and community productions spanning multiple theatres across New Haven, including Long Wharf Theatre, Yale Repertory Theatre, The Iseman Theater and The Little Theatre.

Remsen recently graduated from New Haven Academy and ACES Educational Center for the Arts, where she majored in theatre. She will attend Oberlin College, where she plans to explore Theater Studies along with Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies. Remsen is endlessly grateful for the passion and excitement that keeps A Broken Umbrella thriving and the commitment to community-focused, historically-inspired devised theatre.
