David Stephen Baker

David Stephen Baker is as multi-instrumentalist, composer, sound designer, father, foodie, sailor, banker, and official ABUT company grump. B.M. Hartt School of Music; Yale Rep engineering resident; multiple Broadway and regional theatre credits for sound design, music performance, and composition; three Tony nods; but most proud of being a regular contributor to local yokels like Elm Shakespeare, Arts and Ideas, and A Broken Umbrella Theatre. Company contributions include Play with Matches (composer); Head over Wheels (bass guitar); The Library Project (composer); Freewheelers (sound design); Gilbert the Great (composer); Seen Change! (soprano sax); and Made of New Haven (bass). Dave is frequently held hostage by two little girls and appreciates that ABUT sends him sitters, props him up, shoves food down this throat, and makes him play.
