Aric Isaacs has been with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra for seven years, with the last five as General Manager. In this capacity he has managed generally. Aric has also worked at the International Festival of Arts and Ideas as Director of Patron Services which consisted mostly of walking around downtown New Haven high-fiving passers-by. Prior to both, he was Patron Services Manager at Connecticut Opera where his main duty was getting yelled at by people who didn’t like their seats.

A lifetime ago, Aric toured throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana as bass player and tour manager for Porn Cobb Combo. In this capacity he extended his youth well into his thirties. Aric resides in the Westville section of New Haven with an extremely patient wife and three unruly and ill-behaved cats.
