Rob Shapiro’s musicals include Shelter (with composer Julia Meinwald), Le Fou (with Julia Meinwald and playwright Bekah Brunstetter), and One Night Only: A Hanukkah Jamboree, which appeared in Ars Nova’s ANT Fest in 2011 and 54 Below in 2013. For A Broken Umbrella Theatre, he wrote music for Thunderbolt, songs for Vaudevillain, “Sam & Noah” for The Library Project, and lyrics for Seen Change! (music by Will Aronson). Rob is currently working on Catch, which he developed at the Dramatists Guild Fellowship Program and the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat. He is an alum of Cornell University and NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
