Colin Caplan

Colin M. Caplan is an author, historian, architect, and operator of Taste of New Haven culinary tours and events. He has written extensively on New Haven history, publishing five books and presenting across the community. Caplan has been an ensemble member since the dawn of time, acting as a company historian. His first collaboration was with Thunderbolt after Caplan reconnected with old high school chum and company founder Ian Alderman. Since that time Caplan has provided history background on most ABUT productions and cherishes the company’s ability to tell important stories about New Haven’s cultural legacy.
