A New Haven native, Ian Alderman (Executive Director) is proud to be part of the creative team bringing original, site-specific, New Haven-inspired stories to life. He has either directed and/or acted (or both) in every production. Ian's interest in the history of New Haven begins with his own family as proud owners of Alderman-Dow Iron & Metal, a four-generation family business established in 1895 — the oldest scrap metal recycling company in New Haven. As a professional actor Ian has enjoyed performing in New Haven, New York City, Chicago, Milwaukee, Blue Lake, and Cedar City, Utah.
