Colin M. Caplan is an author, historian, architect, and operator of Taste of New Haven culinary tours and events. He has written extensively on New Haven history, publishing five books. Caplan has been an ensemble member since the dawn of time, acting as company historian. His first collaboration was Thunderbolt, after reconnecting with old high school chum and company founder Ian Alderman. Since then he has provided historical background on most A Broken Umbrella productions.
